Nepotism rears ugly head in Trans Nzoia assembly – Weekly Citizen

It is shocking that if you have no relatives in the Trans Nzoia county assembly one cannot be employed due to nepotism. This has left qualified officers who can deliver with no chance to get employment. This has led Ethics and Anti-Corruption
Commission to freeze some individual accounts. Weekly Citizen managed to access the list of shame from the health department whereby the county government officers have employed their relatives locking out other qualified persons in the sector. County assembly finance officer Moses Lupao has employed his sister Stella Pepela, county executive committee in charge of public service management Susan Murumba has employed her daughter Murumba Dolphin as nutrition and dietetics technicians and Evelyn Nanyama is the daughter to the county assembly protocol officer.
