Exiled lawyer Miguna Miguna has criticised President Uhuru’s efforts of trying to contain the coronavirus situation in the country.
He took a jibe at the coronavirus taskforce that was formed by the president, claiming that it was full of incompetent people who had no qualifications in the field of medicine and health in general.
According to Miguna, the task force was just an extension of the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI), which had already started creating political tensions in the country.
“The so-called coronavirus task force is just an extension of the BBI fraud Jambazi system. They view the pandemic as another opportunity to dominate and cling to power,” said Miguna.
He further castigated Uhuru for leaving out competent people and professionals such as Dr Ouma Oluga from the task force which would easily find a solution to the menace posed by the deadly COVID-19.
“When world leaders address their countries on coronavirus pandemic, they are accompanied by chief surgeons and leading pandemic experts. In Kenya despot Uhuru, CS Kagwe and Karanja Kibicho are competing for the limelight. Dr Ouma Oluga is one of Kenya’s leading physicians. He should either be heading the Ministry of Health or the coronavirus taskforce,” added Miguna.
