Fiery lawyer Miguna Miguna has revealed a list of top Kenyan looters since Kenya gained independence. The list includes names of veteran politicians and senior state officials, who according to Miguna, have successfully looted a great portion of public resources.
Miguna disclosed the list after the World Bank released a report indicating that Kenyan politicians stashed more than 300 billion in foreign accounts, between 1990 and 2010.
The report revealed that the whole amount looted was enough to construct 10 state of the art superhighways in Kenya.
Well, Miguna went ahead to name all the state officials and politicians that the report by the World Bank failed to unmask.
According to Miguna, the late former president Jomo Kenyatta is the chief looter followed by Daniel Toroitich Arap Moi, Uhuru Kenyatta, Charles Njonjo, Nicholas Biwott, Julius Kulei, Simeon Nyachae, James Kanyotu, Jeremiah Kereini, John Michuki, Duncan Ndegwa, Philip Ndegwa, George Saitoti, Njenga Karume and finally former President Mwai Kibaki.
Miguna further claimed that the named persons have looted trillions of shillings of public money and not billions as claimed by the World Bank.
