Dennis Itumbi has lost his State House job after the government scrapped five positions for Senior Directors at the Presidential Strategic Communications Unit (PSCU).
Itumbi, who has been the Senior Director in charge of Digital, Innovation and Diaspora Communication at State House has lately been tweeting more in defense of Deputy President William Ruto.
Others who lost their jobs following the sudden government action are James Kinyua, Erick Ng’eno (Speech Writer), David Nzioka and John Ndolo.
After losing his job, Itumbi scrapped the State House title from his twitter profile and replaced it with “Pig Farmer” description.
During his time as a State House Director, Itumbi often criticized senior government officials, including Cabinet Secretaries and Principal Secretaries on various policy matters.
Lately, he has been critical of the DCI Director George Kinoti, accusing him of contradictions on various active cases.
